Georgia (or “Red” to the team) is an underwater photographer. She loves working with kids and doing something fun that they can show off to their family. She grew up near the Yarra River so being in the water is like second nature to her! So much so that sometimes she gets called a mermaid.

What I love the most about working for Puddle Pics is the challenge of juggling a camera, children and photographing underwater in different pools.

I have been a professional photographer for around three years but photography has always been a passion. I’ve loved swimming for as long as I can remember! My sister and I grew up swimming in the river near our home.

Swimming has always been part of Jane’s life – from beach visits and school carnivals as a child to summers in the backyard pool with her grandchildren.

She loves seeing children inspired to swim the best they ever have done – infront of the camera. She has been working with Puddle Pics since April 2018, out of retirement and into the water!

I love the energy of interacting with the children and how enthusiastic they get when they see the pictures you’ve taken for them underwater!

I started experimenting with photography back in 2014 during my visual art studies and have been hooked ever since! I’ve always been keen for learning new techniques and styles to add to my creative drive.

Growing up I spent my fair share of swimming at local pools and the beach in summer. 

Debbie thinks that her fascination with the water started in her mum’s tummy!

She started swimming lessons at 6 and kept up the training to compete at a state level. She has held a few district records along the way but has since hung up her racing goggles to work full time in marketing.

She thinks that the water gene has passed on to her son, who knew how to splash water on command before his first birthday!
