Since 2011, Puddle Pics has been capturing smiles, confidence and unforgettable underwater memories for children and families across Australia.

Founded by Jo, one of Australia’s most experienced children’s underwater photographers with over 15 years of experience, Puddle Pics has grown to become one of Australia’s most recognised and experienced swim school photography providers.

Over the years, Jo has combined her expertise in underwater photography, customer service, sales and working with children to create a truly unique experience that families love and swim schools trust.

What truly sets Jo apart is not just her photography, but her genuine passion for children and her natural ability to connect with them. She has a special gift for helping children feel relaxed, confident and excited in the water, allowing their personalities to shine and creating natural, authentic images.

Jo’s passion for the swim industry also led her to become a qualified learn-to-swim instructor, teaching babies through to older children. This unique combination of photography and swim teaching gives her an exceptional understanding of child development, water confidence and how to create a safe, fun and memorable experience for every family.

Today, Puddle Pics proudly partners with swim schools across Australia and has photographed more than 100,000 smiling faces.

How It Works

To create a smoother experience for families and swim schools, Puddle Pics now operates photo shoots from Friday to Sunday only with set session times:

Friday
9:00am–12:00pm and 3:30pm–6:30pm

Saturday & Sunday
8:00am–12:00pm

We’ve also introduced a new online booking system to make the process easier for everyone.
